Privacy
In short
This site counts visits without cookies. Google Analytics runs only if you accept it, and Google AdSense shows ads. If you sign up for updates or write to us, your email address is stored only to reply or send updates, and is never sold or shared.
Visit statistics (no cookies)
Cloudflare Web Analytics records anonymous page views: which page, referring site, browser and country. It sets no cookies and does not identify or track you across sites.
Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click Accept, Google Analytics 4 loads and sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to measure how the site is used. Advertising features are off. If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded.
Advertising
Some pages show ads served by Google AdSense, which helps pay for the work. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technology to show ads and measure them, based on your visits to this and other sites. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, the UK and Switzerland), Google asks for your consent first; otherwise you can turn off personalised ads at Google’s Ad Settings. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Email updates
If you subscribe, your email address, the date and the page you signed up from are stored in a Cloudflare database and used only to send occasional updates. To be removed, reply to any update or write to hello [at] seraphinaandromeda [dot] com.
Messages
If you use the “Get in touch” form, what you write, your organisation and your email address are stored in the same Cloudflare database and used only to reply to you.
Shop orders
When you buy something, payment is handled by Dodo Payments, which collects your payment details and is the seller of record under its own privacy policy. We receive and store your email address, what you bought, the amount, and the dates, in the same Cloudflare database. These are used to deliver your order, answer questions about it, and keep accounting records. Order records are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep accounts, then deleted. Your files are delivered by Dodo Payments through its digital delivery service and customer portal.
Videos
Films are shown as a still image hosted on this site. Only when you press play does the YouTube player load, from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), under Google’s privacy policy.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block abuse. Links to Instagram, YouTube and link.me take you to services with their own policies.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, or have it corrected or deleted: hello [at] seraphinaandromeda [dot] com.
